Dr. Callista Belles
Optometrist
Dr. Belles earned her Doctorate of Optometry, with Honor at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. During her studies, she completed externships in ocular disease at the Malcomb Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, and at the Eye Centers of South Florida in North Miami Beach where she was awarded Extern of the Year. While at Nova she had the outstanding opportunity to combine her love of travel and eye care during a week-long mission trip performing eye exams to underserved populations in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Belles completed a residency in Primary Care Hospital Based Optometry at the Orlando VA Medical Center where she gained additional experience in ocular disease and specialty contact lenses. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, cooking, home improvements, and spending time with family.
