Dr. Jaime Gossan
Optometrist
Dr. Jaime Gossan received her B.S. in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She obtained her doctorate of optometry from Southern College of Optometry, graduating with honors in 2010. Dr. Gossan completed internships that provided training in treatment and management of ocular disease, specialty contact lens fits, and pediatric optometry. Prior to moving to South Florida, Dr. Gossan worked with a cataract surgeon and in a private optometry practice in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Gossan is excited to work in a family-focused practice and enjoys working with children of all ages. As a highly near-sighted person, she is passionate about myopia (near-sighted) control for children. She performs comprehensive ocular examinations, fits regular and specialty contact lenses, evaluates dry eye disease, diabetic eye disease, and co-manages post-operative cataracts, refractive surgeries, and glaucoma.
Outside of optometry, Dr. Gossan enjoys traveling, boating, snow skiing, and staying active outdoors with her husband and three kids.
